Meet Laura
Laura Ensler brings 20 years of experience to her work as a consultant, working with public, private and not-for-profit organizations in early care and education, she provides guidance on leadership development, instituting change management strategies, developing new and innovative systems, assessment and evaluation. Ms. Ensler founded FirstStepNYC, a state-of-the-art Birth to 5 Early Childhood Center and the Early Education Leadership Institute co-located at PS/IS41, a K-8 public school in Brownsville, Brooklyn. In addition, she provides search and coaching services to the early childhood education field. Previously, Laura was the Director of Community Development and Outreach for Children and Family Services for the Visiting Nurse Service of NY and developed their Early Steps Family Center in Rockaway, Queens. Laura has taught at NYU and Bank Street.
Meet Shaun
Shaun Johnsen is a television professional with over 19 years of experience in the field of educational production. He is also a co-owner of Murray Hill Studios, a NYC-based television and webcasting studio. Shaun uses his unique experiences as a producer, photographer, videographer, editor and musician to create rich, meaningful content.
